SOPHIA ROSS ALVAREZ
Actor | Singer | Dancer

ABOUT ME
Sophia Ross Alvarez is a singer, actor, dancer, and voice over artist. She was born a Navy brat by the sea, and has since lived in numerous locations across America, from San Diego to Washington D.C.!
In May of 2024, she graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a B.F.A in Musical Theatre. Some recent favorite performances include the Conservatory's production of City of Angels, playing the Angel City Four Soprano (see "Performance Clips" tab), and Nunsense with New Bedford Festival Theatre (Sister Mary Leo).
Additionally, Sophia adores diving into new work! In November of 2024, she performed the role of Malvina in the world premiere of Pinocchio The Musical at the Emerson Colonial Theater, directed and composed by Alexander Prokhorov-Tolstoy. She is childhood friends with Paul Hardin, a composer based in NYC, and has collaborated on his music since she was fourteen. This past January, she performed in 54 Below's One Year In: The Songs of Paul Hardin, as well as Pre-Theatre at The Green Room 42 this June (videos in "Performance Clips").
While at Berklee, Sophia stumbled into a vocal pedagogy class, something that had always interested her. She now offers private vocal lessons and looks forward to helping singers explore and expand their voice!
